WiFi QR Code Instructions

To generate a QR code for your wireless network, enter your details in the following format:

ssid:mywifiname pass:123456789 type:wpa hidden:false

• ssid: your WiFi network name
• pass: your WiFi password
• type: encryption type (wpa, wep, or nopass), default is wpa
• hidden: true if the network is hidden, false otherwise (default is false)

You can copy and edit the code block above for your network. The minimum required information is ssid:your_network_name pass:your_wifi_password

For other QR codes, enter any text or URL as usual.
